Colombos Public International Law Essay Competition One prize of £1,000 may be awarded every year for an essay from a member of the Middle Temple on a prescribed topic of no more than 3,000 words. The word count does not include footnotes, but footnotes should be used for pure reference purposes and not include analysis. World Bank Legal Internship Program | 2027 Spring Cycle | Application Period July 17-August 12

World Bank Legal Vice Presidency (LEG VPU) commenced accepting applications for the 2027 Spring Cycle of the Legal Internship Program (LIP) on July 17, 2026.  The application deadline is August 12, 2026.  This incoming cohort is expected to start the internship in January 2027 and to conclude it in March 2027.  LEG VPU provides a variety of legal services in different departmental units, including operational project finance in different regions, environmental law, corporate finance, administrative law, and more.  Similarly to earlier cohorts, members of the 2027 Spring Cycle of LIP will be designated to a unit in the Legal Vice Presidency to perform legal tasks with our lawyers.   Kindly note, we only accept applications from students who are enrolled in an LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD, or equivalent legal academic program on March 31, 2027 (“currently enrolled law students” ).   For further details on the selection criteria, requirements, terms of referenc...
