Event: Disability and Dyslexia Support Service (DDSS) - Information Stands (delivered by current students)


Dates/times: Monday 11th March (12 - 2pm) and Tuesday 12th March (2 - 4pm)

Venue: The Students’ Union plaza (near the Welcome Desk)


Are you a student who:

  • Hasn't accessed DDSS support yet?

  • Thinks they might have a specific learning difficulty (SpLD)/learning difference such as dyslexia? 

  • Is unsure about eligibility or support options?


Come chat with current students at our information stands!

 

The disability service supports students who: 

  • have a specific learning difficulty (SpLD)/learning difference like dyslexia or dyspraxia

  • have a mental health condition like depression or an anxiety disorder

  • have a long-standing illness or health condition like epilepsy or chronic fatigue syndrome 

  • are autistic 

  • have a neurodevelopmental condition like AD(H)D

  • have a physical impairment or mobility difficulty

  • are blind or partially sighted

  • are D/deaf or hearing impaired

  • have a speech, language or communication difficulty (e.g. a stammer)
