Student Voices Week - Week 4
As you know, the Students Voices Week is a new channel for students’ participation in the life of our community. We want to make sure that you have plenty of opportunities for your voices to be heard. For this reason, we are now institutionalising the Student Voices Week as a new, additional channel of communication and participation of students in our School of Law.
This semester, the Students Voices Week will take place in Week 4 (w/c 26th February). It will consist in the following activities (please, find the registration link below):
- Discussion group on assessments: On Wednesday 28th February, from 12 to 1.30pm in the Moot Court, we will have a session to discuss our assessment practices. We want to gather your ideas and feedback about how assessments are organised. There will be tea, coffee and biscuits, and students will be the protagonists of the event.
- Town hall meeting with the Head of School and Degree leaders: on Thursday 29th February we will hold a town hall meeting with the Head of School and Programme Leaders. This will take place from 12 to 1.30pm in the Moot Court. Student reps will be attending and you can ask questions through them or yourself. All students from our School of Law are welcome to attend. Our aim is to give students the opportunity for their voices to be heard directly by our Head of School and the leaders of their study programmes. We will do so in a friendly environment, and in the second half of the event we will provide some food and beverages so that we can chat more informally. And if you cannot attend but would like to send questions or comments, please use this form: we will make sure that these questions and comments are discussed in the event.
- “Meet your reps and your students’ societies” session: on Thursday 29th February from 1.30 to 3pm, we are organizing an event for students, members of students’ societies and representatives of students to meet. There will be tea, coffee and biscuits, and the idea is to get to know each other and chat a little bit. The event will take place in Bartolome House, in the area near Bartolome Cafe. Registration is not needed, just come and say hi!
If you would like to participate in any of the events, please register here, we will select participants on a first-come-first-served basis. Please, remember that the deadline to register for all events and to complete the form ahead of the town hall meeting is Monday 26th February.
