Students wanted for community volunteering projects - Apply now!
Want to do something fun and worthwhile with your free time this semester? We are looking for volunteers for the following student-led projects:
1. Clubbing Crew
Support a group of adults with learning disabilities to go clubbing at our SU once a month during term time. Gain knowledge and experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, all while having a fun time chatting and dancing at SU club nights!
2. Primary School Volunteering
Can you spare a couple of hours a week to boost children's learning by helping out in a primary school? Gain first-hand teaching experience and do something different with your week. You can choose which day/times to volunteer.
3. LGBTQ+ Volunteering Project
Help young people by engaging them in classroom discussions about LGBTQ+ issues. Make a positive impact whilst developing self confidence and communication skills.
4. ARISE
A really flexible role accompanying refugees and asylum seekers to various events in and around the city. A great opportunity to meet people from all over the world, explore Sheffield and attend various events.

5. We Are Donors
Join We Are Donors to help increase awareness of organ donation. You will help educate students at local schools about organ donation by co-delivering talks with other ambassadors. Flexible times.
6. World Book Day
Do you speak another language? Volunteers wanted to help celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 7th March by reading a story in your language in a local primary school.
