Paid opportunity to input into Faculty Widening Participation Training
The Faculty Widening Participation Advisor is leading a piece of work to create a short digital training module for staff within the faculty, aimed at increasing awareness of Widening Participation support for current students.
As part of the training module, we would like to include short video clips that highlight student and staff voices, sharing their lived experiences to bring this training to life. This training module will be held online via MyDevelopment which is the University platform for all staff training.
We're looking for students from the Faculty of Social Sciences who identify with Widening Participation characteristics to share their voices and experiences with us. You will be required to take part in a filmed 30-minute interview in April which will be conducted by students from the School of Journalism, Media and Communications on behalf of the project. Students chosen for this project will each receive £20 Amazon Voucher as payment.
If you would like to take part in this paid work opportunity please fill out this short google form by the 17th March.
Due to the nature of the funding for this project, this opportunity is only open to students within the Faculty of Social Sciences who identified with one or more of the Widening Participation backgrounds listed on the google form.
