Casual Vacancy in the School of Law - Student Research Assistant

 The School of Law is looking to recruit a student research assistant to work with Dr Jonathan Collinson. The role is to assist on a piece of research on how inspection reports of the Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration have reported on children.

The role will be to conduct a search within inspection reports, and to find, extract and save in a logical, accessible format, references to children.
The role will suit someone who is detail oriented, and the ideal candidate will have a background understanding of the context of children's rights.

Person Specification:
- (Essential) Excellent attention to detail
- (Essential) Computer literacy 
- (Essential) Ability to logically organise data
- (Desirable) Prior experience of content analysis

Hours: Flexible up to 35 hours total

Pay: Grade 6.1 £16.71 per hour + holiday pay

Start date: 20th May 2024
End date: 3rd June 2024
