 The Careers Service are have several development opportunities open between the 29th of April and the 10th of May. This blog contains the opportunities that are especially relevant to law students.

→ Bright Network’s IEUK (Internship Experience UK) 

Internship Experience UK or IEUK is a four-day virtual internship programme (17th - 20th June) that takes place every summer with a new programme each year.

Designed to have the most value for university students, IEUK is an immersive programme packed with valuable insights and opportunities to help you navigate your career path. 

Whether you're unsure what sector to pursue, curious about specific industries, or seeking practical skills to stand out to employers, IEUK empowers you to explore diverse career possibilities and gain a competitive edge post-graduation.  

You can choose from 4 streams:

  • Finance, Professional Services and Consulting

  • Commercial Law

  • Business, Operations & Marketing

John graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in BA Economics and Law  - see his profile here. As well as co-founding Premier, John is also the Chair of a portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses including multiplex cinema operator Peckhamplex and is active in charitable organisations having chaired Missing People for ten years. He is currently a trustee of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.


What can I expect from this talk?

  • This is an informal opportunity to meet in person and ask questions of a senior leader in the PR and Entertainment industry! 

  • Hear how John has gone from Economics and Law to his current role, and how to stand out in this industry!.

  • The session will consist of a short introduction from John at 10:30AM, and then time for questions.
