Sheffield University is working with Alterline and six other UK universities on an important research project which aims to understand the recruitment decisions of people from Black backgrounds pursuing Master’s study. The project will help us to understand decision making and barriers to considering study, and the findings will ultimately help us to improve experiences and outcomes for students from Black backgrounds.
The research will involve taking part in a one-hour interview which covers your life story and decision-making process for considering a Master’s course. Eligibility:
- Must be home fee-paying Master's student.
- Identify as being of Black ethnicity, including African, Caribbean, mixed white and Black Caribbean, mixed white and Black African, or any other Black, Black British, or Caribbean ethnic backgrounds.
- Must be available for interviews between w/c 8th April - 10th May.
