There are several application deadlines for paid opportunities approaching between the 29th of April to the 10th of May. These are great ways to gain experience and build a network of contacts, all whilst earning some money.

The SME Summer Internship Programme offers 40 paid summer internships hosted by SMEs and charities across the Sheffield City Region.
All home undergraduate students who meet at least one of the Equal Opportunities in Careers criteria can apply, at any stage of their undergraduate degree. Not sure if you’re eligible? Find out in a few clicks!
Each internship has a minimum duration of 70 hours, paid at a rate of at least £11.44 per hour. The internships available cover a wide range of areas such as software development, marketing, events, and research.

Reboot Online (a remote PR company in the UK) is now accepting applications for their new initiative ‘Be a CEO for a Week’.
The experience offers the unique opportunity for university students and recent graduates to walk in the shoes of founders, Shai and Naomi Aharony, gain work experience that will set them apart from the crowd, and ultimately, experience what it’s like to be at the very top of a business.

This exciting placement opportunity provides the chance to lead a distinct project involving research, and activity programme delivery and evaluation.
Based on data and insights already collected, as well as your own research, you’ll plan a programme of activities and opportunities to be trialled and evaluated over the year, helping inform our programme and long-term offer for students.
You’ll work directly with students and have the support of a number of staff teams across the organisation to deliver your project.

On this year-long Marketing Placement, you will work as a Brand Assistant, playing a key part in ensuring our brand partners receive a high-quality service that protects and grows their brand.
This is the ideal entry-level role for someone who would like to develop their skills in brand management and learn wider marketing principles.
Day to day, you will work alongside the management team and Brand Executives to execute branded projects. Working in a commercial and deadline-driven environment, you will learn to juggle multiple projects for several brands. You’ll be involved in the implementation of campaigns that drive brand awareness, loyalty, customer lifetime value and sales.
