AspireSheffield BAME Reading Exchange, Wednesday 12 February
AspireSheffield is pleased to invite students from BAME backgrounds to register for our first Reading Exchange event on Wednesday 12 February, 2:30pm-4pm, to share your interests and celebrate the value of diversity.All you need to do is come along and be prepared to speak a bit about something you’ve read that you found interesting, or that resonated with you, whatever the topic. This is an opportunity to share your interests with other BAME students, discover new books, articles, and writers, and build your community. You don’t need to read anything new, although we would be interested in gauging interest in a more formal BAME reading group, so if that is something you’d be interested in as well, come along!
The event will take place on Wednesday 12 February, 2:30pm-4pm, in the Diamond, Workroom 2. We will have some light refreshments available, and if you’d like to come along we ask that you register here.
