Call for Members: Food, Development & Society PGR/ECR Network

The FDS Network Co-conveners are pleased to announce the launch of the Food, Development & Society (FDS) PGR/ECR Network on 30 June 2025. 

This is one of the outcomes of the PGR Writing Retreat funded by the White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership (WRDTP) and the Global Food and Environment Institute (GFEI) in May. 

The network aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing among PGRs and ECRs researching on food systems and their implications for understanding society and its 'development'.

Membership is open to PGRs at any level of study and to ECRs within three years of completing their PhD.  Please find the attached slides for more information.

You may sign-up to become a member using this Google Form. 

You can also apply to become a co-convener and/or provide recommendations for initiatives/activities that the network can undertake for AY 2025/2026 using the sign-up form until 30 July.
