Invitation – Represent University of Sheffield at The Hague Inter-University Law Debate Tournament 2026
You are invited to participate in the 2026 edition of the Hague Inter-University Law Debate Tournament, one of the world’s most internationally recognized legal debate competitions.
Organized by the Corax Foundation with the support of UNITAR, Oxford University Press, and a global network of legal institutions, this annual tournament brings together 32 university teams from all continents in a dynamic format combining Comparative Commercial Law and Public International Law.
The 2026 edition will run from February to June, with all preliminary rounds held online via Webex — except for the Grand Final in The Hague, which includes official visits to international organizations and a formal closing reception.
Matches are scheduled flexibly according to each team’s local time zone and always during daytime hours.
We would be delighted to welcome a team of 2–3 law or law-interested students from the University of Sheffield.
