Volunteering Opportunity for Students (SolidariTee)
SolidariTee is a student and youth-led charity standing in solidarity with refugees and people seeking asylum through advocacy, awareness-raising, and grant-giving for legal aid and mental health support.
Each year, SolidariTee brings together volunteer teams across 30-60+ universities across the UK, each led by a Team Lead and supported by several Regional Events and Fundraising Officers.
These teams take the lead in organising fundraising initiatives and awareness-raising events on campus, playing a vital role in mobilising student communities for global justice.
We are now inviting applications to join our 2025/26 volunteer teams as Regional Events and Fundraising Officers.
This role is designed specifically with university students and young people in mind, and no prior experience is required - just commitment, compassion, and a belief in the power of collective action.
This is an exciting opportunity, particularly for those interested in global justice, human rights, international development, politics, social policy, or non-profit work.
Benefits for students include:
Gaining real-world experience and building transferable skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, advocacy, event planning, and campaign strategy.
Enhancing CVs and career prospects, especially in the charity, legal, or humanitarian sectors.
Joining a welcoming international community of like-minded peers.
Access to exclusive volunteer-only opportunities, such as our current online career series with speakers from organisations including UNHCR and the Refugee Council.
Flexible time commitments, making it possible to volunteer alongside studies and other responsibilities.
Detailed role descriptions and the application form can be found here: https://www.solidaritee.org.
We’d be delighted to welcome members of the law department to our 2025/26 volunteer teams.
