Client Interview competitions
Unlike negotiations, mooting, or bail applications, it is not your advocacy skills that are tested here, but rather your interpersonal skills - your ability to deduct important information from your client, make a mental note of the key facts at stake, and provide helpful responses through your vast knowledge of the law!
As a participant, you will be paired up with another as a team of two, and be given a short statement on the client you are set to meet, and the topic of the problem that you are dealing with.
Unlike the other competitions, you are not going up against anyone!
You are meeting with a client and will be judged on how well you perform in the interview!
Just like all the other competitions, the client interviewing competition is a great experience to add onto your CV, myskills, and to talk about with future employees.
It is an essential part of the job not only for aspiring lawyers, but also for anyone aspiring to enter the world of business.
From participating in the competition, you will gain all sorts of skills that will overlap across different sectors.
And do not forget, there are prizes to be won…
Applications have opened at the start of this week and will close on the 8th, so make sure to fill in the form before then if you are interested in participating!
