World Bank Legal Internship Program | 2026 Summer Cycle | Application Period January 23- February 13, 2026
We are delighted to inform you that the World Bank Legal Vice Presidency (LEG VPU) commenced accepting applications for the 2026 Summer Cycle of the Legal Internship Program (LIP) on January 23, 2026.
The application deadline is February 13, 2026.
This incoming cohort is expected to start the internship in June 2026 and to conclude it in August 2026.
LEG VPU provides a variety of legal services in different departmental units, including operational project finance in different regions, environmental law, corporate finance, administrative law, and more.
Similarly to earlier cohorts, members of the 2026 Summer Cycle of LIP will be designated to a unit in the Legal Vice Presidency to perform legal tasks with our lawyers.
Kindly note, we only accept applications from students who are enrolled in an LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD, or equivalent legal academic program on August 31, 2026 (“currently enrolled law students”).
