What to expect?
Take part in small group discussions with a variety of alumni coaches, and discover the many roles available to you with a postgraduate degree. You’ll hear about their career journeys, get tips for success and have your questions answered.
This will be followed by 50 minutes of informal networking, where you'll have the opportunity to talk to all of the coaches as well as your fellow students, and build your worldwide network.

How LLMs Fit Into Real Software Systems

This session will demystify how modern LLM systems actually work beyond the buzzwords. We’ll walk through the LLM lifecycle, from embeddings and retrieval to orchestration, evaluation, and deployment, and explain how production-grade AI systems are engineered. Using real-world finance-style examples, we’ll explore RAG pipelines, vector databases, structured outputs, tool use, and cost-aware model routing. The session focuses on system design, governance, and measurable impact, showing how LLMs move from demo chatbots to reliable infrastructure components inside enterprise workflows.
